There are several ways to cover your tracks. I shall lay you the options from the best and so on so forth.
1) Change the address of your blog. Go to blog configuration to change it. You will have your entire blog the way it is, but the address. Change it regularly, if you must so that nobody knows where to find it. Only problem is, that if someone wants to link you, they'll have to keep changing their link.
2) Insert this "meta" code into your template. <meta name="robot" content="noindex, nofollow"> This will prevent your blog from showing up in major search engines (like Google, Yahoo, MSN). It will take about one or two months to take effect. When search engine can't fine the latest update of your webpage, it'll uses it's cache to display results.
3) To further cover your tracks, makesure when you submit an entry, disable the "Ping Blog" and "Make Public". This can be done in "Blog Configuration" too. However, if someone knows your blog address, he/she can always visit your blog even with the invisibility meta code.
4) Also, within "Blog Configuration", makesure all 3 categories you select are "None".
5) Insert a "password protection" using javascript. I'm not sure where you can find this script, but it should not be difficult to find. This way, only people who know your password are able to visit your blog. But keep note, using password isn't 100% save-proof at all. BlogDrive do offer password protection for blogs at a certain fee.
6) As to the fact that you want your "friend" to get access to your blog, insert his/her email into your "notification" section. This way, he/she shall know where your blog is no matter how often you change your blog address.
I hope this helps.
